RCCG Albany NY Food Pantry provides a 4 – 5 day supply of nutritionally balanced food, twice a month to the residents in need in our community. Everything is free to those who have verified need.

Our distributions are:
2nd Tuesday from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Last Tuesday of the month from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm.

The Redeemed Christian Church of GOD (RCCG), Restoration Assembly (House of Favor) Scholarship program was established in August 2019 by Pastors Lanre and Abiola Peters. The RCCG Restoration Assembly scholarship is aimed to encourage talented and brilliant students in the greater capital region to further their education in the field of their choice. The scholarship is open to senior High school and Undergraduates students across the state. Four (4) scholarships in the amount of 250 USD will be awarded yearly based on outstanding student performances (3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale), an essay writing context and recommendation letters from academic and non academic advisors. The scholarship amount will help cover the cost of college or technical school of qualified candidates.

How to apply:

The deadline for applications is February 15th of every year.

Selected candidates will be contacted by April 30th of the same year.

To apply, please provide:

  • (2) reference letters
  • (1) Transcript of the current year of study
  • (1) Essay selected from the 3 topics below:
    • Achieving excellence in academia while overcoming life challenges
    • What sets you apart (accomplishment) to receive this scholarship?
    • Select a known societal problem and explain how your college education will enable you to contribute to resolving it
