02Who we are
Restoration Assembly began in 2003 with a few families and a pastor who preaches so you can use the Word on Monday. It has grown under the guidance of the Holy Spirit into a vibrant ministry of people from many nationalities and cultures.
In September 2021 we walked into our own historic sanctuary at the corner of Western Avenue and State Street, stained glass and all. We call it the House of Favor. Our common bond is simple: faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Senior Pastors. They lead together, and have since day one.
Pastor Lanre preaches the Word of God with enthusiastic passion and clarity, so that you can really apply it to your everyday life. He founded Restoration Assembly in 2003 and has led its growth from a handful of families to a congregation drawn from many nations.
Pastor Abiola is an anointed teacher of God's Word with a great love for people. She helps people reach their greatest potential in life by applying God's Word to their daily lives, and leads the Women of Faith ministry.
Together they serve as Provincial Pastors, Region 6 of RCCG North America.

04Join a community
Children to seniors, singers to ushers, newcomers to the United States to those who have been here for decades. There is a department just for you.
Exists to exalt our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through spiritual songs of praise and hymns.
Birth through 5th grade. Scripture memorization, songs and Bible lessons. Growing in faith, love and friendship.
6th through 12th graders meeting God and building friendships that last.
We live by faith, not by sight. A prayer-focused ministry supporting the pastoral vision and the spiritual covering of every family.
05Social outreach
Two outreaches, open to anyone in the Capital Region, run by the church since before we had a building of our own.
Food pantry
No paperwork to be embarrassed about. Come as a neighbor. Volunteers are always welcome, and a few hours on a Tuesday evening makes a real difference.
Scholarship
Established in August 2019 by Pastors Lanre and Abiola Peters. A 3.5 on a 4.0 scale GPA, two references, a transcript and one essay.
