Our story
From Lexington Avenue to the corner of Western and State.
RCCG Restoration Assembly, the House of Favor, was birthed in Albany in 2003 under Pastor Lanre Peters. For years the congregation worshipped on Lexington Avenue while running a food pantry and awarding college scholarships to students across New York State.
On September 11, 2021 the church held the grand opening of its own sanctuary: a historic stone church at 10 Western Avenue, with a second entrance on 475 State Street, purchased for the congregation by the mother church in Lagos, Nigeria. Sunday mornings now fill a room of stained glass and old timber with drums, hymns and voices from a dozen countries.
We are a parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, one of the largest Pentecostal church families in the world, with parishes in every state and more than a hundred nations. Pastors Lanre and Abiola Peters also serve as Provincial Pastors, Region 6 of RCCG North America.

We teach so that the taught can teach. Every ministry, from Sunday School to House Fellowship to Teens Church, exists to pass the Word faithfully to the next pair of hands.
Our 2026 theme is the Year of Supernatural Increase: Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20)

Creator of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

Our comforter and teacher, who baptizes believers with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

Salvation
By grace through faith, through the blood of Jesus Christ which cleanses from all sin.

Baptism
Water baptism by immersion, for those who have believed.

The Scriptures
The infallible, authoritative Word of God.

Sanctification
Separation unto God, a life set apart.

The Second Coming
Jesus Christ will return. We live ready.

Made in God's image, to be fruitful and to have dominion.
